A warm and welcoming place for learners to connect to a community marae with a big heart.

Level 1 Commerce ākonga were warmly welcomed by Te Herenga Waka o Orewa Marae to engage in workshops on the history and financial decision-making of the marae.  It was an awesome experience to be welcomed on with a formal pōwhiri and all found the experience informative and enriching.

This experience created strong local connections for ākonga and will have a significant impact on their learning this year.
