Whangaparāoa College is situated at 8 Stanmore Bay Road, Whangaparāoa, Auckland with easy and direct access via main roads from the Hibiscus Coast and Northern motorway.  The college is within walking distance of a shopping mall, leisure centre, tenpin bowling, and a 5-screen cinema. 
The College has two main purpose built venues available for hire.
Performing Arts Complex
Venue Highlights

Our performing arts complex is co-located with an attractive approach directly from the parking facilities.  The venue consists of a purpose built tiered theatre and two additional spaces.  The auditorium has a spacious foyer with a full kitchen and serving area attached.

  • Theatre features. Large stage with full drape proscenium, full tabs and cyclorama suitable for projection

  • Seating Capacity. The theatre comfortably accommodates up to 420 guests, suitable for various event.

  • Modern Facilities. Equipped with theatre-grade lighting and sound systems as well as full screen projection facilities.

  • Additional Spaces. Two purpose built, sprung floor dance and drama rooms, ideal for rehearsal spaces or additional dressing rooms, breakout sessions or smaller gatherings. Dance room also has full length mirrors.

  • On-site Parking. Over 200 parking spaces including ample disabled parking.

  • Experienced Support. Full technical support and crewing available.
Gymnasium

Whangaparāoa College Gymnasium is a spacious and well-equipped facility available for external use, ideal for various sports and events. The gym features two full-size basketball courts, offering ample space for activities such as basketball, volleyball and pickleball. The court areas are versatile, with a dividing court curtain that allows for the simultaneous use of both courts, making it perfect for tournaments or group activities.
