Art Success - Stills 2023 Youth Photography Competition

Art Success - Stills 2023 Youth Photography Competition

Congratulations to Year 13, Nevaya Wakefield who has won 2nd Place in the Altered category of Stills 2023 Youth Photography competition. The competition received over 1550 submissions from across Aotearoa - and the quality across the board was incredibly high. To be named among the award winners is a massive achievement and the judges had the following comments regarding Nevaya’s piece “This piece is super eye-catching, I really enjoyed the repetition and pattern of the artwork" and "I can appreciate the amount of time and thinking that has gone into this composition just from looking at the arrangement - that effort in editing and layout has resulted in a beautiful, skillfully and considered collage rich in colour with a very pleasing balance throughout." Massive congratulations Nevaya, a wonderful result and we’re so pleased for you!
