A very special and emotional morning at Auckland Normal Intermediate as WGP Deputy Principal Jason Pocock was welcomed with a pōwhiri to recognise him as their new Tumuaki (Principal). Jason's whānau, together with a contingent of learners and staff from WGP, was invited as part of the official ceremony to hand him over to ANI. Jason has been at Whangaparāoa College since it began in 2005 and will start his new role as Principal at the end of this term, we send off with him lots of aroha and support for this new chapter.
