An amazing opportunity last night for 6 of our learners to perform for Prime Minister Chris Hipkins and invited guests at the Te Ohu Whakawhanaunga Tāmaki Makaurau official Founding Day event. The event was held at Lesieli Tonga Auditorium in Mangere. 🌺❤️ Our fantastic Hibiscus Tuakana learners; Iman, Kyra, Lisa, Elena, Kennedy & Vai together with former learners Helena, Kirk and Nate, performed Tongan dances in honour of Lea Faka-Tonga ueiki, Tonga language week. 🇹🇴 Many thanks to Marina and the entire Hibiscus Tuakana team for this opportunity for our amazing ākonga to showcase their talents. It is a wonderful way to celebrate the 5th year of Hibiscus Tuakana Pasifika in our community and schools!!
