Some of our keen mathematicians competed in the Auckland Math Association Mathex Competition at the Barfoot and Thompson Stadium in Kohimarama. Mathex is a challenging and fast-paced mathematics contest where schools from across Auckland compete against each other in teams to answer questions as quickly as possible. 🕗📢✔️✖️➗➖➕🧮 These learners have been practising twice a week at lunchtime for the last two terms, so it was great to put what they've learned to use. Although none of our teams placed this year they did well and enjoyed themselves immensely.
